I love going to the zoo...they have such interesting animals! I spend a lot of time trying to take photos of lizards there. This little guy really caught my eye, his colors were so bold. ^^
(I'm sure you guys are tired of photos, but I can't draw right now. Sorry, I've been trying. :/ )

This is a great shot, normally I would say the focus really should be on the eye, but with the focus on the bulge of the cheek it really emphases the texture of the skin. Nicely done.
